Gurdjieff, A Very Great EnigmaDuring the Summer of 1963, Mr. Bennett delivered three lectures on Gurdjieff at Denison House. The first lecture gave an account of the incredible environment of Gurdjieff's boyhood. The second was devoted to the sources of Gurdjieff's ideas- from Armenian Secret Societies through to the Sufi Recluses of Persia and Turkestan. The third lecture deals with Gurdjieff's teachings and methods and lays emphasis on the practical means of application. |
